Finance Project Manager - OLD

At TransferGo, we’re on a mission to make moving money globally as quick and simple as sending a text. Finance Operations play a critical role in shaping the way we process transactions and, to make sure we’re doing that in the best way possible, we’re now looking for a talented Finance Project Manager to work in our team.

Here’s what you’ll be doing as Finance Project Manager:

  • Ensuring that operational activities are executed and delivered as per the standards set by the procedures and policies
  • Leading the recruitment activities as well as regular feedback sessions and performance reviews
  • Acting as a senior point of contact for addressing any inquiries and questions related to payment operations
  • Overseeing policies and procedures for operational efficiency
  • Playing a significant role in long-term planning, including an initiative geared toward operational excellence
  • Providing cross-functional leadership to develop and improve operational systems, processes and policies to achieve operational KPIs and OKRs
  • Performing operational analysis to support Operations and positively influence business decisions
  • Assisting in maintaining and implementing new tools and services to achieve operational efficiency

Here’s what we’d love from our new Finance Project Manager:

  • Knowledge and experience in operations management and/or effectiveness
  • Demonstrated leadership in managing major projects or initiatives
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, open to direction, with a collaborative work style and commitment to get the job done
  • Flexibility to handle the growth and demands of a fast paced environment
  • A highly organised, detailed and process-oriented person that can develop and hold to specific project plans and timelines
  • Ability to work independently and make judgement-based decisions with a good sense for when escalation and additional communication may be necessary
  • An independent self-starter willing to think outside of the box and influence change, and to be proactive in implementing process improvements
  • A strong customer centric approach and motivation to deliver excellent service
  • Fluent and effective oral and written English communication skills

Monthly salary from 2100 € to 3000 € (gross) depending on the level of experience.
