About the role

We’re looking for a skilled and proactive Customer Risk Manager to lead our AML and fraud risk operations. In this role, you'll manage a team of AML analysts, oversee critical day-to-day processes, and drive continuous improvement across customer risk operations. What You’ll Do

  • Lead and manage a team of AML analysts, including conducting regular catch-ups, and performance reviews
  • Oversee daily operations related to customer risk management, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and alignment with regulatory standards
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customer risk and AML-related matters across the company
  • Define, implement, and improve AML and fraud-related operational procedures and standard works, ensuring regulatory compliance and alignment with best practices
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Compliance, Product, Customer Support, Legal, and other key teams
  • Support ad-hoc compliance projects and tasks that contribute to broader business goals

What You’ll Bring

  • Proven experience in managing and mentoring AML or fraud risk teams
  • Deep knowledge of AML regulations, transaction monitoring, fraud prevention, and suspicious activity reporting
  • Strong operational mindset and ability to manage multiple workflows and deadlines
  • Ability to analyze, adjust, and optimize rules and processes across AML and fraud systems
  • Proactive and detail-oriented approach, with strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Experience in driving continuous improvement in compliance procedures

Nice to Have

  • AML-related certification (e.g., CAMS)
  • Experience with regulatory audits or external investigations
  • Experience with handling business customers
