A mission and values that Unite: over 100 Influencers and Eurovision star MONOKATE come together at BigThings 2.0 to support the TransferGo and UNITED24 charity campaign
On Saturday, 10 October, nearly 150 people, including over 100 Ukrainian influencers, gathered in Warsaw for BigThings 2.0 to support the “Transfers That Unite” campaign. This initiative by TransferGo and UNITED24 aims to support Ukrainian students. Until 29 October, TransferGo will contribute an additional 0.2% of every transfer made to a Ukrainian IBAN to UNITED24’s Education and Science programme, at no extra cost to the sender. The event was attended by Valentyna Kuzmin, Vice Consul of the Consulate General of Ukraine in Krakow. The guest of honour was popular Ukrainian singer MONOKATE.

The theme of BigThings 2.0 was student life, as the “Transfers That Unite” campaign supports future professionals studying at Ukrainian colleges. Guests received personalised student gradebooks, brought from Ukraine and filled in by hand, and took part in a prize draw for breakfast with MONOKATE.
BigThings 2.0 gave guests not only space to network and exchange ideas, but also practical knowledge for growing their own blogs. One of the speakers, blogger Anita Solovey, who has almost 400,000 followers on Instagram, shared her forecast of social media trends for 2027 and tips for creating successful content.

Representatives of the fundraising platform UNITED24 explained how they turn audience attention into real support and how their way of working with partners has changed in recent years.
The highlight of BigThings 2.0 was a talk by Ukrainian singer Kateryna Pavlenko, better known as MONOKATE. She stressed the importance of creating Ukrainian-language content and promoting Ukrainian culture, and spoke about the values worth preserving in public life. She then surprised guests with a few songs, accompanied by guitar.

TransferGo has been consistently building a community of Ukrainians abroad for some time now. The first BigThings event took place in Warsaw last year. This spring, the company held TRUE INFLUENCE, an event for Ukrainian creators, in Prague.
“Ukrainian creators abroad have become some of the strongest voices keeping Ukraine’s story alive, and BigThings 2.0 was our way of bringing those voices into one room. Every transfer home is already an act of care for family, and with Transfers That Unite, we’re making sure that it also helps the next generation of Ukrainian professionals finish their studies. Seeing more than 100 people come together in Warsaw showed us that this community isn’t just growing, it’s ready to act,” said Krzysztof Szatecki, Brand & Demand Director at TransferGo.

Alongside influencers from Warsaw, bloggers travelled to BigThings 2.0 from Krakow, Poznan, Wroclaw, Gdansk, Lublin and Szczecin. For them, this event was a rare opportunity to meet in person. Guests’ feedback confirmed that the format worked. “When you see so many socially conscious people in one place, it restores your faith that you’re on the right path,” said one participant. “Thank you for doing such important things and bringing us together. I’ll gladly keep taking part and sharing initiatives like this on my blog,” added one influencer.

The “Transfers That Unite” campaign runs until 29 October. To take part, simply send a transfer in hryvnia to an IBAN in Ukraine via TransferGo, and an extra 0.2% of the amount will go to UNITED24’s Education and Science programme.
